Episode 12: Go To Hell (Aired Jan. 22, 2014)

This is an episode that moves forward slightly, but still stalls somewhat, as we all, at this point, want to know who the next supreme will be. Each of the older witches meet their fate in this second to last episode, while the younger witches hone their powers to hopefully rise in the coven.

Coming straight off of gauging her eyes out, Cordelia is concerned when she can’t see the future or past, specifically when she can’t hear Misty, who has gone ‘missing,’ though we all know where she is. Meanwhile, our favorite little Hollywood witch Madison, basking in her getting rid of Misty, learns some more of the ‘seven wonders.’ But she’s not alone, as Zoe returns from Florida with Franken-Kyle, much to the dismay of Mrytle who was trying to protect her, to announce that she’s the next supreme because she can bring someone back from the dead.

And in her quest to find out what happened to Marie, Queenie takes a trip to the underworld. She then makes a deal with the devil to get rid of both Marie AND Madame LaLaurie, who has been trying to fix her image in her old home, which is now a museum. It comes with a price, of course. In the end, both Marie and LaLaurie are stuck in their own hell, thanks to the devil. Not a good look on either of the women.

In an interaction with Fiona, Cordelia finally gets her power back and sees the future of the Coven. Fiona kills them all in order to remain supreme. Knowing this can not happen, Cordelia meets with the Ax Man to let him know that Fiona is just using him. He doesn’t believe her. However, when Fiona heads to his place, he finds a plane ticket for one and in a fit of anger, kills her. Incredible. Just like that, he hacks her up. He runs to the coven to confess what he’s done and kill them all as well, but the coven, stronger than ever since Misty is back (Cordelia finally ‘found’ her and she was not happy with Madison), stops him in his path and then brutally murders him, again, similar to the way he was killed decades ago.

All this leads up to the simple solution, the girls must get ready to perform the Seven Wonders to determine who will be the next Supreme.

Like I said, it moved forward slightly, tying up the loose ends of Fiona, Marie and LaLaurie, but we still don’t know who the Supreme is. I really hope it’s not Madison because I want to punch her in the face. I really hope it’s not Zoe either, because she’s the weakest witch, at least I think so. I find it a shame that after all that time of trying to stay alive, Fiona died at the hands of a man. A man who loved her for decades from beyond. However, he was a murderer, it was in his blood. I guess some could see it only fitting then, the way she died.  I think the best part of this episode, besides the girl fight between Misty and Madison, was the opening sequence of the old footage of the Seven Wonders. Very interesting.

So, who do you think the new supreme will be?
