Liz Ward (Matron Of Honor)
Liz is my Hank Mardukas. We’ve known each other since kindergarten, and have been causing trouble ever since. She always tells me when I’m being an idiot, and I always make her put her pants on to go out. From making noise to keep unwanted people from renting the apartment below us and throwing epic parties at Dewey Ave. (Are my eyes closed?), to being married with kids, we’ll always want to drink wine and watch “I Love You, Man” … just maybe before 8pm.
Debra Hein (Matron Of Honor)
Debbie and I became friends in high school because of our love for boy bands. We both wanted to win a contest to meet ‘N Sync and our youth minister wouldn’t let us use the phone. Well, we eventually did meet ‘N Sync and 98 Degrees and a whole slew of boy bands along the way. We’d stay up all night watching VHS tapes of Backstreet Boys videos and concerts, and we always remembered to lock the doors.
Ashley McGrath (Bridesmaid)
Ashley will be the first one to tell you that when she met me, she thought I was one of ‘Daddy’s weird friends who liked to do puzzles’ with her. It didn’t take long for her to start calling me Crias, and making up songs about me. Perhaps it was my love for pop music or my sweet dance moves. I’m very honored to have Ashley as a part of my bridal party and can’t wait to watch her grow up into a beautiful young woman.
David McGrath (Best Man)
David was my first and only choice to be my best man. Since the day he was born he has been my closest and most trusted friend. Whether it be watching Star Wars, playing golf or endlessly practicing baseball, it is always better when we are together. I could not be more proud to have him as my son and best man.
John DiStasio (Groomsman)
John is my original partner in crime. From the day we met in the summer before sixth grade as the fat kids on the football team until today, John has always been the first person I call when I need a friend. We have been there for the important events in each other’s lives and could not imagine not having him next to me as I get ready to take this next step.
Michael Petralia (Groomsman)
When deciding on our bridal party, it was important to have people closest to us, so we didn’t have to look very far in picking Mike. He made me a big sister, and we’ve been through everything together. Even when he was across the country and halfway across the world, he’s always been there for me. I was there by his side when he took his vows, and I’m happy to have him by my side when I do the same.
